The photo above of Derwentwater and the Borrowdale fells is just part of the stunning view from Upper House. Croft House is in the right hand corner. The photo to the left shows Applethwaite village - with the bulk of Skiddaw behind. Lord's Seat is the white house with four upper windows and one chimney - just to the right of centre. We are very sorry - Upper House cannot accommodate pets. |

Upper House is located over Lower House and has accommodation on two floors. Accommodation in outline: Entrance porch with shower room, Lounge/dining room, kitchen, double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, bathroom and cloakroom. Accommodation in more detail: Entrance from car parking area into porch with shower room. Spacious lounge/dining room with panoramic view south, exposed roof beams and trusses. Coal-burning stove, flat screen TV, DVD player and music system. |

Off the lounge: Kitchen (dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine/ tumble drier). Bathroom : bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. Cloakroom with hand basin and toilet. Double bedroom. |

The garden is shared with Lower House and is reached
by a flight of steps from the car parking area. The photo above right is of the Bassenthwaite valley. Applethwaite village with the bulk of Skiddaw is on the right and Croft House is the prominent white house just below the village. |
